California has three statutes that authorize and regulate various aspects of charitable gaming:

Charitable Raffles under the enabling provisions of Penal Code Section 320.5

Charitable Bingos under the enabling provisions of Penal Code Section 326.5 and applicable local enabling laws.  The latter laws are not presented.

Charitable Poker and Other Controlled Games were authorized beginning January 1, 2007.  The ability to hold such events is subject to prohibition at the local level.
